SASS Recipients Invited to Join Phi Theta Kappa

SASS recipients Brenda Canchola and Isela Cedeño have been invited to join the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society (PTK), an organization whose mission is to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in leadership, service and fellowship programming. The average GPA of a PTK members is 3.8 and 93 percent of members receive Associate degrees. Both Isela and Brenda have completed all of the classes in Cañada College’s ESL sequence and are enrolled in classes that count toward an Associate degree.
