Cañada College Awards Scholarships to SASS Recipients

Three SASS recipients have earned scholarships from Cañada College for the 2013-2014 academic year. Recipients and their scholarships include

• Amado Flores: was awarded League of California Cities Latino Caucus Scholarship, Cañada Math Club Scholarship. Flores plans to transfer to a 4-year college and become a civil engineer. Watch the video and listen to Amado describe his journey.
• Armando Gomez: was awarded the Cargill Scholarship Award
  Gomez plans to obtain a certificate in kitchen and bath design.
• Jose Manuel Bonilla: was awarded the Robert Stiff Scholarship. Bonilla is exploring his career options.
